Antikolinerjik ajanlar, kimi de yaşlı ve başkalarının gözünde glokom teşhis edilmemiş veya aşırı basınç mevcut olabilir hastalarda birincil glokom, iris ve lens arasında (synechiae) (dar ön kamara açı) glokom, ya da adezyonlar doğru bir eğilim ile azaltılır. Antikolinerjik mydriasis neden, çünkü, bu koşulları kötüleştirebilir onlar.
