Tüketici:

(Doksisiklin hariç) tetrasiklin böbrek tarafından çeşitli ölçüde ortadan kalkar. Böbrek yetmezliği olan hastalarda azalmış uyuşturucu boşluk nedeniyle bunun sonucunda mevcut, hiperfosfatemi kronik renal yetmezlik ve asidoz (artmış BUN) tetrasiklin ilişkili hepatik ve/veya renal toksisite için risk altında olabilir. Tetrasiklin ile tedavi dikkatle ve azaltılmış dozlarda böbrek yetmezliği olan hastalarda uygulanmalıdır. Böbrek ve karaciğer fonksiyon klinik izleme tavsiye edilir ve serum tetrasiklin düzeylerinde uzun süreli tedavi sırasında gerekli olabilir.
