Ve niasin (nikotinamid) niacinamide büyük dozlarda atılımı için ürik asit böbrek ile rekabet edebilir. Gut hastalık ve yağış uzun süreli tedavi sırasında bildirilmiştir. Bu ajanların (örneğin, lipit düşürücü dozları) farmakolojik dozlarda kullanılarak tedavi dikkatli olan hastalarda uygulanan ya da gut yatkın olmalıdır.
