Dopamin agonistleri kullanımı halüsinasyon, psikoz, konfüzyon, anksiyete, mani, hipomani, depresyon, ani ruh hali Bisiklete binme, kabuslar ve hiperseksüalite gibi psikolojik etkileri ile ilişkili olmuştur. Dopamin agonistleri ile tedavi dikkatle psikotik hastalarda uygulanmalıdır ve tüm hastalara dikkatle depresyon ve intihar eğilimleri gelişimi için takip edilmelidir.
