Oktreotid engeller verilmemeli, safra kesesi ve safra kompozisyonunu değiştirebilir. Hastaların %29 Ortalama oktreotid tedavisi sırasında yeni taşları oluşur ve hastaların %20 safra çamuru geliştirmek. İlişkili pankreatit nadir vakalarda bildirilmiştir. Safra kesesi hypercontractility, bazen biliyer kolik sonuçlanan, oktreotid çekilmesi üzerine bildirilmiştir.
