Drugs.com, Rxlist.com, Webmd.com, Medscape.com gibi yetkili kaynaklara dayalı kontrolün sonucunda bu ilacın bu komorbid hastalık ile etkileşmesi halinde zarar verebilen veya olumsuz etkisini artırabilen kontrendikasyonlar veya yan etkiler bulundu.

Herkes için özellikle kullanımı bu olayları bir bütün olarak nadir olmasına rağmen, Stevens-Johnson sendromu, toksik epidermal nekroliz ve diğer ciddi deri reaksiyonları riskini büyük artışlar ile ilişkilidir. Hepatit, pnömoni ve interstisyel nefrit da ishal aşırı duyarlılık ile ilişkili olarak meydana gelmiştir. Herkes için özellikle tedavisi bu hastalar ciddi aşırı duyarlılık reaksiyonu riski olabileceğinden dikkatli şiddetli alerji, astım ya da AIDS olan hastalarda uygulanmalıdır. Hasta derhal Stevens-Johnson sendromu gibi yüksek ateş, baş ağrısı, yer Bilimleri, konjonktivit, nezle, üretrit ve balanit gibi kutanöz belirtileri başlangıcı öncesinde belirtiler rapor verilmelidir. İshal tedavisi eğer bir döküntü gelişirse hemen durdurulması gerekir.
