Amrinone kullanımı ve seyrek, milrinone, trombositopeniye neden olabilir. Bu doz görünüyor bağımlı ve genellikle uzun süreli tedavi sırasında oluşur. Amrinone tedavisi ve dikkatli trombositopeni olan hastalarda uygulanmalıdır milrinone. Doz, eğer trombosit sayısı belirtilerin ortaya çıkması halinde 150.000/mm3 altına düşmesi halinde azaltılması veya ilacın kesilmesi gerekebilir. Öncesi ve tedavi sırasında trombosit sayımı önerilir.
