Amiodaron (T3) T4 için (tiroksin) periferik dönüşüm engeller ve aynı zamanda değiştirilmiş tiroid fonksiyon testleri, tiroid veya hipertiroidi neden olabilir inorganik iyot katkıda bulunur. Amiodaron ile tedavi dikkatli bir tiroid bozukluğu olan hastalarda uygulanmalıdır. Klinik izleme, temel ve tiroid fonksiyonları periyodik değerlendirme dahil olmak üzere tavsiye edilir. Tiroid tedavisi değiştirilmesi gerekli olabilir.
